1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups quick rolled oats – processed till fine
1½ cups flour
Cream butter, sugars and eggs. Mix in other ingredients. Let rest for ½ hour for oatmeal to absorb some moisture. Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 9 minutes.

OK - something's missing here. Or a couple of things. 1 - no mention of chocolate chips except in the title. I threw a bunch in anyway ;-).
2 - are you sure about the 1 cup of butter? 1 stick maybe? Made these this weekend and they turned out flat & crispy (the way Colin likes so he was happy), but not at all like yours turn out J&C.
