Mom started making this in college.
1 cup sugar
1½ cups flour
3 tablespoons cocoa
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 tablespoon vinegar
¾ cup oil
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup water
Mix all dry ingredients in 9x9 pan with a fork and then make 3 holes in mixture. Fill one hole with oil, one hole with vinegar, and one hole with vanilla. Pour water over all and mix well with a fork. Bake 60 minutes at 350°.
