Snickerdoodles

½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 ¾ cups flour

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and add dry ingredients. Mix well. Shape into balls and roll in mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400°.
